Biography: Jeff Schroeffel

First, let me take the opportunity to personally thank you for visiting my company’s web site and taking the opportunity to read more about us. I am the lead consultant and owner of Pittsburgh Internet Consulting and I am confident you will be very pleased with our services should you decide to give Pittsburgh Internet Consulting the chance to help your company market your web site.

Next, on to the biography, I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in December of 1998 with a degree in Management Information Systems. This degree is focused on how computer networks function and the basics of programming to enable a graduate to manage computer systems or a programming team. After graduating from IUP I worked with a retailer for about one year lauching an eCommerce site for the company. After purchasing the site and two months of zero sales it became evident that our development company knew nothing about marketing a web site, only how to build one. That was when I realized that if our site would be successful I needed to learn how to market a site on my own.

One year later, the company that developed that initial web site, Lazerpro Digital Media Group (Lazerpro), hired me away from the retailer to start an online marketing department inside their agency. I then spent approximately two years working for Lazerpro in State College marketing approximately 20-30 client sites in addition to some project management duties. In September of 2001 I moved back to Pittsburgh and started Pittsburgh Internet Consulting. To this day Lazerpro remains one of my most valued customers and we continue to handle 100% of their online marketing services.

Personally, I am a member of Upper Saint Clair Alliance Church in the South Hills and work with the Youth Group there along with my wife Kara. We love the Pittsburgh area and hope to see it grow back into the thriving business community it once was. Please consider my company to help your business succeed online.
