Following graduation, Trista worked for local weekly and metro daily newspapers and direct mail companies helping small and medium sized business promote themselves to the communities they served.  As times and technology progresses, she recognized the need for businesses to diversify their advertising medium to reach their entire potential market.  She went on to work with local companies assisting in both their traditional and digital media plans to bring in new customers and stay in touch with their existing customer base. 

In January 2017 Trista joined Pittsburgh Internet Consulting to continue to help businesses with their internet and social media marketing plans.
